Nicole Tossou is the Head of TV at Project X Entertainment – a global entertainment company based in Los Angeles, CA that is focused on taking a creative-driven approach to discovering, producing and financing original stories for all mediums.
In her role, Nicole is responsible for finding unique IP to adapt, working with new and established talent in developing/selling their projects and being involved with production once the shows are sold. She is currently executive producing the Netflix series, “The Night Agent,” with Shawn Ryan and director Seth Gordon, and the involved in the development of “Bloom County,” an adult animation show based on the work of award-winning comic artist/writer Berkeley Breathed for FOX.
Prior to Project X Entertainment, Nicole worked at SpringHill Entertainment where she was involved with the development of scripted and unscripted content, which included bringing to life Netflix's “Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker” starring Octavia Spencer and the MLK Jr. History Channel Special “Rise Up: The Movement That Changed America.” Past positions have also included the NBC Page Program in New York, working on iconic programs such as The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, TODAY and Saturday Night Live, as well as positions at A+E Networks & A+E Studios. With over 10 years of industry experience, Nicole has a passion for amplifying voices and stories that often go unheard.
A proud native of Washington D.C., Nicole is "First-Gen" American (her parents are from the West African country of Benin) and an alum of Fordham University. She is currently a mentor at Unlock Her Potential founded by Sophia Chang.
