Ed Horasz has been with Netflix since 2014 and is currently their global head of kids & tweens live-action and content acquisitions/licensing.
Ed partners with major and independent studios to create original kids series and to license non-branded, but impactful content like Cocomelon, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and many others. A small sampling of the studios that he works with includes DreamWorks, Viacom, BBC, Hasbro, and DHX/Wildbrain.
Ed is also responsible for Netflix's original live-action series slate targeting the elusive kid and tween demographic. Some examples of the shows he has worked on include The A-List, The Worst Witch, The New Legends of Monkey and the upcoming Surviving Summer.
Prior to joining Netflix, Ed spent several years working at Mattel Entertainment, Sony Pictures, and Warner Bros. He lives in California, likes long walks on the beach, and writes lengthy bios to see if anybody is actually reading them....
