Saskia Schuster is Head of Scripted at Fulwell 73. She joined the company in early 2020 to develop and produce drama and comedy. As well, Saskia runs Comedy 50:50 which is an initiative she set up to address gender imbalance in the industry.
Before joining Fulwell 73, Saskia was Head of Comedy at ITV for six years, where she commissioned scripted comedy, comedy drama and comedy entertainment shows. Shows include The Larkins, The Trouble With Maggie Cole, Benidorm, Birds of a Feather, Kate and Koji, Bad Move, TimeWasters, Plebs, Don’t Hate the Playaz and The Stand Up Sketch Show.
Before ITV, Saskia was a Comedy Commissioner at Sky where shows included Little Crackers, A Young Doctor’s Notebook, PsychoBitches, Yonderland, The Kumars, Nixon’s The One, Trying Again, Love Matters.
Saskia started her career as a script editor in drama, before moving to comedy where she worked on shows including Peep Show, Fresh Meat, Bill Vs. Life, The Armstrong and Miller Show.
