Jillian Danford is a YouTube, Television and Social Media personality who creates lifestyle vlogs about her outgoing and hilarious family: The Danfords. She is known by millions as "Auntie Jullian." Her YouTube Channel has more than 100, 000 subscribers and more than 13 million views from a culturally diverse audience. In 2018, Jillian signed a deal with Bell Fibe TV1 who, in conjunction with her, produced the reality show, Auntie Jillian for its 2M+ viewers. Season 1 of Auntie Jillian was released in the Spring of 2019 and Canada's First Caribbean/Black Reality Show captured the attention of social media, media outlets and Bell Media's main network CTV. The show was picked up by CTV for a summer run from July 25th to August 8th 2020 with full promotional support. Etalk calls her, "A YouTube star that made stars of her entire family!"
With the success and popularity of Season 1, Bell Fibe TV1 released a 2019 Christmas Special for the holiday season and that too continues to stay in the top tier viewer's choice on the platform. Season 2 is now underway with a COVID-19 episode already in the can. Auntie Jillian is known in the community as a youth advocate and has spoken at school assemblies as well as government programs for youth and anti-violence. She has also held dozens of Q&A's about societal issues on her social media page, Ask Auntie Jillian. Always with an opinion, she is a regular contributor on CTV's Mind The Gap panel, which pits millennials against boomers on hot button topics.
