Chris Loveall currently serves as Vice President, International Content for Disney+, working closely with Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer & International regional teams on the development and production of local language original scripted and unscripted series, as well as acquisitions, for all non-US markets. With the successful rollout of Disney+ in multiple markets, the International Content team is developing a robust slate of new content to complement the existing Disney library as well as new series and films from Disney’s sister studios.
Loveall most recently served as vice president of international programming for AMC Networks, including AMC, SundanceTV and BBC America, and was responsible for the development of original international commissions, co-productions, and select acquisitions for each network. For SundanceTV, he oversaw the co-productions Liar with ITV, and Rosehaven and Cleverman with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Prior to joining AMC Networks, Loveall served as vice president of original programming at Participant Media’s Pivot network, overseeing scripted development, as well as international co-productions including Fortitude with Sky Atlantic and Please Like Me with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. His background includes a number of programming-focused positions at ABC Signature Studios, The CW, and other production companies.
He lives in Los Angeles and is a graduate of The University of California at Davis.
