In her role as Manager, Original Content, Lifestyle at Corus Entertainment, Lynne oversees the development and production of a slate of series for Food Network Canada, HGTV Canada, and Global, managing a team of Production Executives driving the day to day operation of the Original Content, Lifestyle department.

With over 30 years of experience in the television world, Lynne has worked in the documentary, factual, scripted, reality and lifestyle genres. Prior to joining Corus, she worked at Citytv in both programming and production before heading East to help launch IFC Canada where she produced the channel’s weekly independent film focused magazine series, IndieNation.

Returning to Toronto, Lynne continued with IFC, overseeing the channel’s slate of originals (Cocked GunsInk: Alter Egos ExposedVice Guide to Film) as well as over 25 documentaries. As Executive in Charge of Production at Shaw Media, Lynne gained extensive experience in the Factual space while working on multiple award winning original series and one off programs for HISTORY  (Museum SecretsWar JunkMummies AliveMiracles DecodedAncient WeatherDino Hunt Canada), as well as variety, award, scripted and reality programs for Global (Canada’s Walk of FameThe Indspire AwardsThe Gemini AwardsThe Genie AwardsThe Kennedys and Big Brother Canada).

At Corus, Lynne’s knowledge of the both the production and broadcasting processes saw her elevated to the position of Manager, Original Content, with a focus on Lifestyle. While embracing her new duties she also continues in her role as Executive in Charge of Production on a variety of programs for Food Network Canada, HGTV Canada, Slice and Global, including Iron Chef CanadaBig Brother CanadaThe Canadian Country Music AwardsStronger Together and others.

Lynne has seen a lot of changes in the television industry throughout her lengthy career but her passion for telling great Canadian stories, and producing entertaining and meaningful content, has never wavered.
