Helen Asimakis joined CBC Drama in 2001 as an Executive in Charge of Production and was appointed Senior Director, Drama, in October 2013. She leads the team responsible for managing the creative development and production of CBC Television’s slate of dramatic programming including: Lady Dicks, Coroner, Frankie Drake Mysteries; the long running Murdoch Mysteries and Heartland series, as well as the upcoming series,Trickster, Feudal and The Sounds.
Helen has worked in the television industry since 1988 and has a broad knowledge of production, distribution and management. Prior to CBC, Helen held a variety of positions at CTV, Sullivan Entertainment and Sarrazin Couture Entertainment.
