Danielle Audette

Director of Programming

APTN Aboriginal Peoples Television Network Inc.

Danielle is Métis-Francophone from Manitoba, who has over 18 years of experience in the film and television industry. In 2002, she worked as a freelancer as a line producer, production manager and post-production supervisor on various documentaries and movies of the week for CBC, CTV, Vision TV, Lifetime and Movie Central. Her fervour and devotion enabled her team to garner nominations and awards, most notably a Gemini nomination, in 2007, for Best Biography Documentary for As Seen on TV! The K-Tel Story.

Since joining APTN in 2009, she has supported the APTN Programming Mission to develop and commission distinctive Indigenous stories that reflect and celebrate our pride and culture. Danielle has been the acting executive director of programming and scheduling since December 16, 2019.
