Roy Ashton is the Head of the TV Literary & Packaging Dept. at The Gersh Agency, with offices in Los Angeles and New York. Prior to joining Gersh as Partner in November 2011, Ashton spent 13 years at Creative Artists Agency. Starting in the mailroom, Ashton worked is way up the corporate ladder and now functions in all areas of television, helping clients sell and package television projects at the major networks, major cable, and premium cable outlets.
Ashton’s client business includes showrunners, production companies, directors, distributors, authors, and actors from all over the globe. He has taught at USC’s Film School and founded the Junior Hollywood Radio & Television Society. A graduate of Columbia University, Roy now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
