Though based on historic happenings of decades past, the series has almost prescient parallels that get to the heart of today's gender and race issues. Moderated by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, Mary McNamara of the Los Angeles Times, this session will feature an in-depth conversation with series creator and showrunner, Dahvi Waller, two-time Emmy Award-winning actor Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black), Emmy, Gracie and Critics’ Choice award-winning actor Margo Martindale (The Americans, Justified) and Executive Producer Micah Schraft (Jessica Jones, Jane the Virgin).
