Speaker Andrea Higgins
Andrea is the Founder and Lead Music Supervisor at AHA Sound & Vision, a Full-Service Music Supervision company based in Toronto, Canada that specializes in original music, licensing and creative strategy.
With over two decades of award-winning experience, Andrea has established herself as one of Canada’s key creatives in the business of synchronizing music to picture, overseeing music creative and licensing for some of this country’s most successful television productions, including Workin’ Moms (CBC/Netflix), JANN (CTV), Coroner (CTV/CW), Wynonna Earp (SyFy), and 250+ episodes of Heartland (CBC), the longest running one-hour drama series in Canadian history.
Recent productions include Sight Unseen (CTV/CW), The Trades (Crave), Skymed (Paramount+), Ride (Hallmark/CTV) — the latter was nominated for a 2024 Rockie Award for “Best Use of Music In a Series”. She has also worked on Feature Films including Scott Pilgrim Vs The World (Universal) where she coordinated all of the on-camera performances.
Andrea is an accredited member of The Guild of Music Supervisors Canada.
