Megan Halpern

The Black List
Megan Halpern is Senior Vice President of the Black List, where she oversees a robust array of programs, partnerships, and their film, television, and podcast slate. In addition, she produces the Black List's Word by Word, hosted by Ed Solomon, which raised over $70,000 for writer support organizations during the 2023 WGA Strike.
Halpern began her career in book publishing and joined the Black List in 2014 to develop its lab programs and produce live events. She has overseen the company’s collaborations with Google, UPS, GM, Warby Parker, Marriott, and Tubi, among others, and led its expansion into theater.
Independently, she produced Noga Pnueli’s directorial debut DEBORAH, starring Sophia Bush and Deborah Ann Woll. She graduated from New York University and currently lives in Los Angeles.
