After that, she wrote for several series including Jack & Bobby, Everwood, CSI: NY and Vampire Diaries. After two seasons as a writer and co-executive producer on Shonda Rhimes’ Private Practice, Barbie was promoted to Executive Producer and co-showrunner. A few years later, she created and was showrunner of Secrets And Lies for ABC. Barbie currently serves as executive producer and showrunner for the highly anticipated medical procedural series Doc, coming soon on FOX.
