Star Trek, television’s longest-running franchise, has always been groundbreaking for its storytelling that not only entertains millions of global fans, but also addresses social, political, and cultural issues. Trek’s optimistic view of the future and reflection on what it means to be human has inspired generations of dreamers and doers. It’s been almost six years since Star Trek embarked into a streaming future on Paramount+ with new series including Star Trek: Discovery, Picard, Strange New Worlds, Prodigy and Lower Decks, and the recently announced Section 31 and Starfleet Academy. Join cast and creatives from the Star Trek family in a discussion on ushering in the golden age of Trek, growing the franchise, and introducing a new generation to this universe all while staying true to what made it a cultural phenomenon 56 years ago.
