Brooke Townsend

Sr. Director, Non-Fiction Programming & Development

History

Brooke Townsend is a Director of Nonfiction Programming and Development for The HISTORY Channel. In this role, Townsend oversees multiple hit programs, including Pawn Stars, Lost Gold of World War II and Swamp People: Serpent Invasion, as well as maintaining a robust development slate.

A 7-year veteran of A+E Networks, Townsend began her tenure at LMN. During her time with LMN, she was an instrumental part of the programming team that developed and produced, Escaping PolygamyI Love You, But I Lied, and My Crazy Ex.

Prior to A+E Networks, Brooke began her career producing talk shows, including The Montel Williams ShowThe Tyra Show and The Nate Berkus Show.

Townsend holds a Bachelor's Degree from Marist College where she majored in Communications. She currently resides in Long Island, NY where she's taken on her most rewarding role to date - mother to her adorable 2-year-old daughter.
