Marcie Hume

A&E

Marcie Hume is Senior Executive Producer for A&E, responsible for creating and developing new series for the network. She joined A&E in August 2017.
 
Hume began her documentary career at the BBC in London, and has created and produced a range of series for the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, she has created and Executive Produced series for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel. Her 2008 documentary film “Hood to Coast” was released in 370 theaters nation-wide through Fathom Events, and her award-winning 2016 documentary “Magicians: Life in the Impossible” is now available globally on Amazon.
 
Hume runs a series of workshops entitled “Calling the Shots”, which promote camera skills for women in documentary film and television. She is the Co-Chair of the Diversity Behind the Camera Committee at A+E Networks.
