Christina Rogers is Director, Original Independent Film at Netflix where she oversees a slate of Original Netflix female-focused films in the Romance, Thriller, and Inspirational genres that have garnered hits like The Princess Switch, Holiday In the Wild, Falling Inn Love, Secret Obsession and Dangerous Lies. During her 4 years at Netflix, she also oversaw the independent film licensing for the service. Prior to Netflix, Rogers was Head of Worldwide Sales at Magnolia Pictures, where she lead global sales for Magnolia's award-winning slate of independent feature films and documentaries. Prior to joining Magnolia, she developed a specialty in the independent film space during her 10-year tenure at the National Film Board of Canada where, as Head of Sales, she negotiated co-production and worldwide sales/distribution agreements for many prestigious independent films.
Earlier in her career, Christina held positions at The Hallmark Channel, TVA, Sullivan Entertainment, and The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Christina is a native of Montreal, Canada, and currently resides with her husband and daughter in Santa Monica, CA.
