Alec Strum joined EPIX in April 2020 as Vice President, Original Series, working on the development and execution of the network's slate of scripted original content. He most recently served as Director, Drama Programming & Development at Fox Entertainment where he started in 2015 as an assistant. While at Fox, across both current and development, Alec contributed to series including THE RESIDENT, GOTHAM, THE GIFTED, DEPUTY, THE PASSAGE, PROVEN INNOCENT, NEXT, and pilot BLOOD RELATIVE. He also had the pleasure of covering Fox’s live production of RENT. Prior to joining Fox, Alec worked as an assistant in UTA’s TV Literary Department, but began his career as a dramaturg, producer, and director in New York, serving as Associate Literary Manager at Playwrights Horizons and as an assistant director both on and off-Broadway.
