Suzanne Prete is President, Game Shows at Sony Pictures Television (SPT), where she oversees the studio’s Game Show Production division and Game Show Network (GSN). A highly respected leader with deep expertise in brand expansion and content strategy, Prete leads all aspects of the game show business, from development and production through distribution and multi-platform growth. Since the division’s launch in 2022, she has focused on building a best-in-class production operation by leveraging SPT’s iconic franchises, reimagining beloved formats for modern audiences and developing original content for today’s evolving media landscape.

Prete and her team oversee the legendary Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune franchises, the #1 and #2 non-sports programs across linear television. Under her leadership, the division has successfully expanded the franchises beyond syndication and into streaming, securing landmark next-day streaming agreements with Hulu, Hulu on Disney+, Peacock in the U.S. and Crave in Canada — marking the first time current-season episodes became available on streaming platforms. Her team also oversees acclaimed extensions of the brands, including Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Celebrity Jeopardy!, Jeopardy! Masters and Pop Culture Jeopardy!, the division’s first streaming-first spinoff.

Prete additionally oversees GSN, a top 10 cable entertainment network home to hit series including America Says, Beat the Bridge and People Puzzler. Alongside the network’s original programming slate, she leads Game Show Enterprise Studios, which produces many of GSN’s top-performing series.

Among her many accomplishments, Prete played a key role in securing a landmark five-year renewal with ABC Owned Television Stations for Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune through their 44th and 45th seasons, respectively. She also helped lead the successful transition of Wheel of Fortune into a new era by securing Ryan Seacrest as successor to longtime host Pat Sajak beginning with the show’s 42nd season.

Prete joined Sony Pictures Television as a production attorney and has held numerous senior leadership roles across the company over the past three decades. She was previously Senior Vice President of Global Licensing & Brand Management for Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, where she significantly expanded the franchises’ ancillary businesses through strategic licensing agreements, in-show integrations and innovative brand partnerships. She also helped drive the successful licensing of SPT game show IP to IGT, creating substantial growth across lottery, slot machine and online gaming platforms. Later, as Executive Vice President, Business & Strategy, she oversaw business operations for the franchises while spearheading new opportunities to expand their multi-platform presence through original spinoffs and fan engagement initiatives.

During Prete’s tenure at SPT, the studio’s game show programming has earned widespread industry recognition, including 23 Emmy® Awards in the Outstanding Game Show category.

Prete currently resides in the Hollywood Hills.
