Montreal native Emily Hampshire, known for her role as "Stevie Budd" in the record-breaking CBC comedy Schitt’s Creek, available worldwide on Netflix, currently stars in Amazon's hit drama series The Rig alongside Iain Glen. She also stars in Roku's mini-series Slip with Zoe Lister Jones, the indie film Fitting In with Maddie Ziegler, and more.
Hampshire has won six consecutive Best Supporting Actress awards at the Canadian Screen Awards and a SAG Award for her role on Schitt’s Creek. She is involved in various projects as a writer and producer; developing television projects with Sony based off legendary producer Norman Lear’s catalogue, Elliot Page’s Page Boy Production and Universal, and her recently released and best-selling graphic novel Amelia Aierwood: Basic Witch.
Her impressive filmography includes roles in 12 Monkeys and feature films like The Death and Life of John F. Donovan and Mother!
