Dan Fill is the President of Dark Slope, leading the team to make the impossible possible through engaging storytelling paired with virtual production and spatial technologies. He oversees the Immersive Games, Television and Dark Slope Studios divisions, including the company’s new state-of-the-art multi-stage 32,000 square foot virtual production studio.
Under his leadership, Dark Slope has been heralded as a Realscreen Trailblazer (2023) for their impact on the scripted and unscripted industries, and recognized in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ (2022.)
Dan is an international award winning creator and producer of entertainment programming across television, animation and games. He has worked on dozens of high-profile projects with partners including Dave & Busters, The Jim Henson Company, Aardman Entertainment, iTV, Viacom, BBC, CBC and Turner. Prior to Dark Slope he was the Head of Multiplatform for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation where he was named the country’s top Digital Innovator for his role in commissioning Australia’s leading streaming service ABC iView. ABC iView now accounts for over 900 million streams a year.
Previous to ABC, Dan was the Vice President of Interactive for Decode Entertainment (now Wildbrain) where Dan built an award-winning internal studio. Dan currently serves as a Board Member of CASO.
