Jane Rimer was appointed SVP, Canada, at Banijay Rights in early 2020, following Banijay’s acquisition of Endemol Shine Group. With more than 20 years’ experience in the international media and entertainment sector, Jane today oversees all sales and content partnership opportunities in Canada for Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of Banijay Entertainment.
Jane was previously Chief, International Strategy at Insight Productions, spearheading the international growth of the company which joined the Boat Rocker family in 2018. Prior to this, Jane founded independent media consultancy Nylon Life Media, which she operated over a 10-year span. Before launching her own shingle, Jane was SVP Development and Programming at FremantleMedia North America.
In her current role, Jane sells and exploits some of the world’s most renowned IP across Banijay Entertainment’s extensive multi-genre catalogue of over 185,000 hours.
