Simon Faber has over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, across the Film, Television, Music, Fashion and Gaming verticals. Prior to founding Taiga Pictures, he was a partner at the WME Agency where he worked with a number of artists including Martin Scorsese, Adam Sandler, Pharrell Williams, Andre Benjamin, Chloe Zhao, Daft Punk, Epic Games, The Weeknd, and Gary Vaynerchuk. Simon also launched Taiga Pictures to support Canadian voices in the International film and television markets.
Taiga is currently partnered with Leena Minifie's Stories First on its first project, a television adaptation of Joshua Whitehead's award winning novel 'Jonny Appleseed', which Brad Fraser is adapting. Taiga is also developing a feature film with writer / director Graham Foy (The Maiden - TIFF 2022).
