With over 20 years of experience in television production, Vanessa Steinmetz co-CEO and Executive Producer at Pier 21 Films, leads the creative and business strategies for the company alongside co-CEO Nicole Butler.
Vanessa was previously SVP Production Finance at eOne and ran her own consulting company Stone Carver Media where she provided structural financing expertise to independent producers. With deep roots in the Canadian production landscape, and work on over 150 productions including the recent projects Late Bloomer (CRAVE), Run the Burbs (CBC/CW/HULU) and Don’t Even (CRAVE).
Vanessa serves as an active Board Member for Film Ontario and the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA).
