Kevin is Chair and Chief Creative Officer of the Lionsgate Television Group and Chair of the BANFF Board of Directors. He has spearheaded the strategic expansion of Lionsgate’s television production operations into one of the largest independent television businesses in the world.
Kevin has shepherded iconic series including eight seasons of the multiple Emmy Award® winner Mad Men, seven seasons of the ground-breaking Orange is the New Black, eight seasons of the hit comedy Weeds and six seasons of Dead Zone. The Lionsgate Television Group is coming off one of its most successful years with 14 new shows picked up to series and 15 current series renewed for additional seasons. Recent successes include the top comedy Ghosts on CBS, which was recently renewed for a third season; Mythic Quest, renewed for its third and fourth seasons on Apple TV+; Home Economics, which returned to ABC for its third season; and hit series including P-Valley, the Power Universe, and Julia, to name just a few.
Kevin is the recipient of the Alliance for Children's Rights' National Champion for Children Award, Operation Smile's John Connor Humanitarian Award, The Help Group's Teddy Bear Humanitarian Award, and the Broadcasting & Cable Innovation Award. He has been inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame and serves on the Boards and Executive Committees of several major industry organizations, including the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Los Angeles Paley Center for Media. He is currently a Board member of the homeless youth center My Friend’s Place, Cayton Children’s Museum, and Green Dot Charter Schools.
