Kara Brown is currently a Co-Executive Producer on Boots Riley's I'm A Virgo. She was a writer and producer on Hulu's upcoming adaptation of the New York Times bestseller The Other Black Girl as well as Janine Nabers and Donald Glover's Amazon series, Swarm. Past credits also include Marvel's She-Hulk, In the Dark, and Kenya Barris' Black-ish spinoff, Grown-ish. She is in development on a Paramount Pictures romantic comedy, Good Crazy, with producer Katie Silberman (Booksmart, Set It Up). Previously, she co-hosted Crooked Media's pop culture podcast, Keep It, and was a senior writer at Jezebel covering pop culture, race, and television.
