Jessye Romeo is an actress and writer born and raised in London. She gained attention by winning Best Actress at the 2020 British Independent Film Festival for her lead role in Lucky Break (BAFTA nominated for Best British Short 2021). Jessye has just wrapped the titular role in Robyn Hood for GlobalTV in Canada, helmed by Director X. She can currently be seen in series 2 of Grace for ITV and soon to be released, Graham Broadbent’s new pic The Beautiful Game. She can also be seen in Pennyworth (WBTV / HBOMax) and Curfew for Sky as a lead regular alongside Sean Bean and Adrian Lester. Other TV credits include; Lucky Man, In the Long Run and Will. Film credits include, Mindhorn opposite Steve Coogan.
