The Heat Mansion/DGC Ontario Chair

Raised in the arresting landscapes of Muskoka, award winning writer/director Annie Bradley is known for her striking cinematic work and strong storytelling. She is a DGA/DGC member, an alumna of the Sundance Film Festival, TIFF, the TIFF Talent Lab, TIFF Pitch This!, the CFC Directors Lab, Film Fatales LA, AWD and WIDC. Her work has screened on five continents and been featured in American Cinematographer.

While developing a slate of film and TV projects through her company The Heat Mansion, Annie has built a diverse resume of international directing and writing credits spanning film, television, music videos and commercials. Most recently, Annie returned from Paris after helming 7 episodes of the upcoming Hulu series Spellbound, before that she directed the season opening block and was the Producing Director on the final season of the smash crime comedy In The Dark S4 for Netflix/CW/CBS after coming on board the show in Season 3.

Prior credits include: multiple episodes of the Apple + anthology series Strange Circuits, the true-crime Lifetime movie, The Good Father – The Martin McNeill Story (Tom Everett Scott), the Hallmark hit Meet Me at Christmas (Catherine Bell, Mark Deklin), the thriller Tempted by Danger (Keesha Knight Pulliam, Gabrielle Graham, Micheal Xavier) which premiered on Lifetime with over 1.2 million viewers and her feature doc, I'm Going to Break Your Heart (Crave) which was a 2020 Canadian Screen Award nominee and stars Canadian music icons Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida.

Past credits include: the romcom Sincerely Yours Truly (Uptv, Channel4, TV4, CityTV), 2 episodes of the juggernaut series The Good Witch (Hallmark/Netflix), 3 episodes of the sci-fi series Endlings (Hulu), an episode of My Perfect Landing (Netflix) as well as the true crime miniseries Cold Valley (Discovery US).

Annie was chosen as one of 5 international female directors to officially observe on Handmaids Tale and was thrilled to be paired with internationally acclaimed Director Jeremy Podeswa. (Station 11, Game of Thrones, The Loudest Voice) Up next, Annie is attached to write and direct Blowback a gritty female cop thriller based on her short film. Her development slate includes: the dramatic feature - Into the Sinking, The Dissonance, a dystopian conspiracy limited series, Submerged, a mystery series set in Muskoka, comedy series Ir-Reverend and The Super, Just One Day, a feminist heist caper and Barracuda, a gothic western limited set in Iceland.

Annie was a finalist for the 2020 Nell Shipman Award and currently serves as the Chair of the DGC Ontario. She is represented by Carmen Bonnici at Pacific Artists Management and Katy McCaffrey and Greg Pedicin at The Gersh Agency.
