Jessica Callahan is Vice President, Development at Hallmark Media. Callahan reports to Elizabeth Yost, Senior Vice President, Programming & Development, and is based in Los Angeles. In this role, Callahan pilots original programs and movies through every step of the development and production process, from conception to scripting to post. She contributes to the creation and execution of broad content strategies for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, working closely with producers, writers, and talent to bring family-friendly entertainment to life. In her six years at Hallmark Media, Callahan has successfully brought over forty MOWs to air. Prior to her time at the company, Callahan spent a decade at Hallmark Hall of Fame Productions producing MOWs for CBS and ABC. Recently, she was tapped to bring back the legacy franchise for a new audience. Before transitioning into television in 2006, she was an editor of romance and mystery novels at Penguin Group in New York City.
Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Mount St. Mary’s University.
