Bart Fisher is Senior Vice President of Development for Hallmark Media, home of three linear networks; Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama and subscription video on demand streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now. He is based in Los Angeles and reports to Randy Pope, Senior Vice President, Programming and Development. In this role, Fisher is charged with the sourcing and development of original scripted content for Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama, overseeing projects from start to finish and ensuring that production meets Hallmark Media standards. Fisher joined Hallmark Media in 2008 and quickly established himself as a creative and highly valued member of the programming team, rising the ranks to become Senior Vice President of Development in October 2019.
Fisher holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology accompanied by a minor in Comparative Literature and Film Studies from Indiana University Bloomington.
