James Farr is Director of Development for Cream Productions.
Since joining the company in 2010, James has been dedicated to finding and developing unique projects that connect and resonate with audiences hungry for exciting content.
Throughout his career at Cream, he has led the development on specials and series in a broad variety of unscripted genres, including true crime shows Fear Thy Neighbor and Murder U for Investigation Discovery, paranormal series Evil Encounters for Blue Ant Media and history projects like The World Without Canada for History Canada and the Emmy-nominated Blood & Fury: America’s Civil War for AHC.
Previously, James served as a development writer for the Toronto International Film Festival.
Most recently, Cream premiered BTK: A Killer Among Us (ID), The Dictator’s Playbook (PBS) as well as the fifth season of their cult hit Fear Thy Neighbor (ID). In the last year alone, the company produced more than 10 series and over 65 hours of programming.
