Isabel joined the Creative Affairs team at Entertainment One in June 2017. As Director of Development her focus is to help eOne build a strong slate of scripted television projects for both the domestic and international marketplace.
Previously, Isabel spent 9 years as an executive with the Canadian Film Centre. As Executive in charge of Project Development & Packaging (2011 to 2016), she oversaw the development and packaging of film & TV projects through the CFC’s many high–profile programs and marketplace initiatives. She played a lead role in their strategic design and delivery, and was responsible for building partnerships and international opportunities for CFC alumni and their projects. As Executive in Charge of Production & Post (2007 to 2011) she oversaw the development, production, and delivery of over 300 productions.
Isabel is a CFC producer alumna, who holds a BFA in Theatre and MFA in Acting. She was co-writer and co-host of the Gemini-nominated lifestyle series, My Messy Bedroom, and has produced 7 short films. Isabel has participated on industry advisories, juries and panels for the Toronto International Film Festival, Women in Film, ImagiNATIVE, Festival du Nouveau Cinema, ACTRA, the Whistler Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Institute. And, she co-designed the Future of Film initiative with Ted Hope, in partnership with Fandor.
Isabel recently completed a global MBA at University of Toronto (Rotman School of Management) and University of St Gallen, Switzerland, with a focus on international business, strategy, innovation, and leadership. She grew up in a mixed cultural household in Montreal and speaks 4 languages.
