Alyse Rosenberg is an award-winning writer, producer and director. She is currently Vice-President of Development, Film and Television for Story Hawk Pictures as well as a Development Consultant for Serendipity Point Films. Prior to holding these positions Alyse was Vice-President of Television Development for Serendipity Point Films where she oversaw scripted drama, comedy and unscripted projects and was a Consulting Producer on the half hour dramedy Four in the Morning (CBC).
Additional career highlights include: Creator, Executive Producer-Showrunner, Writer & Director of the critically-acclaimed tween series Ready or Not (Showtime/Disney/Global Television); Series Producer of Lives that Changed the World (Discovery Channel/Smithsonian Channel) – a documentary series that explores the lives of iconic leaders including Muhammad Ali, Nelson Mandela and Fidel Castro; Series Producer of Forensic Factor – a docu-crime series (Discovery Channel); Executive Story Editor/Writer of the animated series Braceface ( ABC Family/Teletoon), Writer/Associate Producer of Virtual Mom (CBC/Nickelodeon). Alyse has written and developed an extensive range of television projects in Canada and the United States as well as taught writing, producing and directing courses across Canada. She has a MFA in Film from Columbia University.
