TELUS STORYHIVE provides funding and training to filmmakers in British Columbia and Alberta to support compelling original storytelling. The program supports filmmakers from a diversity of backgrounds with innovative ideas and alternative views.
The TELUS STORYHIVE BANFF Fellowship Program is intended to encourage professional development in digital production by enabling emerging creative talent, including producers, writers and directors, to attend the BANFF World Media Festival. Fellowships are not intended for established professionals.
The TELUS STORYHIVE BANFF fellowship program will include the following:
- A full festival registration, including admission to all seminars, workshops, feature interviews and screenings plus all official festival social events;
- Three nights’ accommodation;
- A travel stipend; and
- Market preparation support in conjunction with the National Screen Institute.
