The TELUS STORYHIVE BANFF Fellowship Program is designed to provide training and support for emerging and mid-level creators. The program is intended to encourage professional development in digital production for producers, directors, and writers in BC and Alberta with at least one credit to their name. By providing unparalleled access at the BANFF World Media Festival, we hope to support career acceleration for the recipients of the Fellowship program.
TELUS STORYHIVE BANFF Fellowships provide a travel stipend of 3 nights' accommodation at the Banff Ptarmigan Inn or similar; and a full festival registration (June 11 - 14, 2017). This includes admission to all seminars, workshops, screenings, and feature interviews and all official social events. In conjunction with the National Screen Institute, Fellows will also receive market preparation support prior to the festival. Meals and all other costs of attending the festival are the responsibility of the fellow recipient. TELUS STORYHIVE Fellowships, including registration and social tickets, are awarded on the basis of individual merit and are non-transferrable. Paired applications, or applications from several people connected with the same project or company, can only be considered on an individual basis.
