Roma Kojima is Senior Director for OTT Video at CBC, English Services. Her mandate is to oversee the evolution and growth of the OTT platform as part of the CBC's Digital Strategy.
Roma began her media career in 2000, filing papers and fetching chai at Carat Media Mumbai. She then graduated to writing features, copy-editing and wrestling with Quark Xpress at Mid-Day Multimedia's print division in Pune, India. Since moving to Toronto in 2006, she has worked as Director, Marketing and Partnerships at Interactive Ontario, helping promote the province's digital media industry within national and foreign markets.
Prior to joining the CBC, Roma spent seven years in various roles at Rogers, including digital strategy, business development and innovation enablement for the Media division, and was part of the team that launched the Customer Intelligence initiative in 2014. Most recently, she ran the online wireless sales channel for the Rogers Consumer Business Unit.
