Kelsey Balance is the Head of Programming for Seeso, a newly launched ad-free comedy streaming channel from NBCUniversal’s Digital Enterprises. As Director of Programming, Balance will have oversight of all originals, acquisitions and co-productions, including fan favorites and critically acclaimed “Flowers,” “Take My Wife,” and “HarmonQuest.” Prior to joining NBCUniversal in 2015, Balance was at Pivot TV where she worked on Original Programming, specifically multi-award winning half-hour comedy “Please Like Me,” a co-production with ABC Australia, one-hour drama “Fortitude,” a co-production with Sky Atlantic, and Emmy-winning series “Hitrecord on TV” with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. As the second employee of the start-up, Balance was integral in both the launch and growth of the network. She got her start at CAA and Universal Pictures, was awarded “CableFax’s Over/Under List: Overachievers Under 30” in 2014 and has served on several industry boards including the JHRTS Executive Board and NYTVF Next Gen Committee.
